Nippon Kogaku Nikkor-S·C 5cm f/1.4 LTM in Rare Bakelite Presentation Case
Leica Thread Mount (M39)
A highly desirable Nikkor-S·C 5cm f/1.4 lens in Leica screw mount (LTM/M39), manufactured by Nippon Kogaku in the early 1950s. This version is renowned for its superb optical performance, featuring a fast f/1.4 aperture and classic Japanese craftsmanship.
What makes this offering especially rare is the inclusion of the original black Bakelite case, specifically designed for export lenses in LTM mount. These cases were produced in very limited quantities and are seldom seen on the market today.
The lens is clearly marked "Nippon Kogaku Japan", with serial number engraved around the front element. It features the “SC” designation, indicating Seven elements and Coated optics.
A collectible gem for Leica screw mount users, Nippon Kogaku enthusiasts, and historical lens collectors alike.
