Meyer Görlitz Germany, ca. 1939. Primoplan 1.5/5cm modified for Leica M Mount with Rangefinder Coupling
Extremely rare and highly unusual ultra-fast uncoated full-frame Primoplan lens, professionally converted to Leica M mount with rangefinder coupling. One of the most characterful classic German optical designs, renowned for its distinctive pre-war rendering, soft glow wide open, and exceptional vintage bokeh. A highly collectible and seldom-seen lens in Leica M configuration.
You can see sample pictures taken with this lens on a Leica M11.
The lens was professionally modified in Hong Kong by a skilled technician, who also made these test images to demonstrate its performance.
