The multifunctional handgrip expands the camera's functionality by an additional SCA socket. Using the additional socket requires the full SCA adapter set consisting of a high-quality flash support rail and an external flash hot shoe mount with a spiral cable. The SCA adapter set may either be entirely used to connect the flash to the camera or without the flash support rail to use the flash off-camera.
