In October 1994, we opened our first retail shop in Nuremberg, Germany, specializing exclusively in used cameras and collectible photographic equipment. Due to rapid growth, we expanded early into online sales and, as early as 1998, launched one of the first online shops dedicated to used and collectible cameras. Through Yahoo, we were able to attract international clients very quickly and establish our name worldwide.

In 2007, we opened a shop in Hong Kong to ensure direct access and closer contact with our Asian clientele. This location continues to operate successfully to this day.

Our partner Evan Wong represents us locally in Hong Kong at the physical shop and has worked closely with us since the opening of our Hong Kong location. You are welcome to contact him directly at any time.

In 2010, we made the decision to relocate our company to Zell am See, Austria—a small and picturesque town in the Alps of the Salzburg region. At that point, we transitioned fully to an online-based business model, allowing us to dedicate more time to sourcing, preparing, and presenting exceptional items for our customers.

Since 2018, we have been working in close cooperation with a camera precision mechanic and have established a small in-house workshop. Since then, all collectible and used items are thoroughly cleaned, tested, and, where necessary, professionally serviced prior to shipment, so that nearly every item leaves our company after a final service inspection (unless explicitly offered as defective). As a result, we have been able to reduce our return rate from approximately 60% to nearly zero.

Our inventory consists exclusively of first-class used collectible cameras, including many rare and historically significant pieces. In addition, we offer large-format cameras, antique view cameras, lenses, and professional photographic equipment.
